long post
So I'm back again.


Thursday was ok. I worked and some other stuff. Thursday night, Bain Mattox was playing at Tasty World. Jenna, JJ, and I went to pre-game at Copper Creek (where Blake works) with some of Jenna's co-workers. Unfortunately, Chris Brown wasn't there. He's my favorite of all of her co-workers. He's so excellent. He is dating a girl I knew from Myers, who is one of the coolest people ever. Anyway, we met up with Neil and Tyler at Copper Creek. Copper Creek brews their own beers (for those of you who are non-Athenian). I had an Abbey Ale. It was 7.5% alcohol.

Anyway, I had about a third of it and was feelin it. I guess it hadn't helped that I had hardly eaten anything that day. Abbey Ale, good, but strong. I was being a bit bored for a while because JJ was talking to some old guys and Jenna and her co-workers were discussing work stuff. So, I was chillin out, and Blake came out. He was like "Hey, wanna go to the store?" So we went to the store to pick up some woodchips. He's a cool guy. Anyway, when I got back, everyone was making fun of me. They thought that "going to the store" was a new way of sayin "gettin it on"... Tyler said, "So, how was the cash register... of COCK?" It was silly. We just went to Wal-mart. There was no makin-it, I promise. Anyway, Jenna had finished my beer for me because I couldn't do it. I'm not a beer person. At this point, Maggie joined the party. JJ bought both of us each a GIGANTIC Sex on the Beach. It was very tasty. After finishing it, he proceeded to buy me another!

Eventually it was about time for the concert. Yes, I was quite tipsy at this point, but it's ok. We got to Tasty World and met up with Alli, Catie, Heather, Rob, Sam Deeds, and Jenna's sis, Sarah. Here, JJ proceeds to buy me ANOTHER Sex on the Beach and some drinks for everyone else. It's nice to be taken care of like that, you know? He shouldn't have spent all that money this weekend, but he wanted to. He's a big boy, he can handle it. Anyway, the show was awesome. We had this HUGE group of people and we were being the big fun group at the show. We know the band, so we got to talk to them before and after, much to the envy of the little fangirls. One of his songs, Thorn, is a waltz. You know that we all waltzed it up! Alli and I paired up and JJ and Jenna paired up. It was so fun! Everyone was looking at us because we were doing ballroom dance at a rock show! It was silly. Anyway, we all know how much I LOVE to waltz.

I was so silly and tipsy, like all of us were. We were all having such an amazing time. It was one of those moments in life where you and your friends are having such an honest good time. None of us were secretly upset at anything. We were just having fun being together. It was awesome.

Well, let me see, what else? I got a CD Player put in Cupcake. He's much happier now. I can't believe how expensive it was, but it's well worth it. To celebrate, I bought 3 new CDs. I got Goldfly by Guster, Kid A by Radiohead, and Absolution by Muse. I can't believe I didn't own any of these CDs sooner. I knew I loved them all, considering I've been listening to all these bands for a while... but wow.

Yesterday, after getting the CD player installed, Cupcake and I went on a long drive, just the two of us. We went to Watkinsville, drove around the whole loop, and explored some back roads in Athens. It was a nice time. It was a beautiful day, with Fall coming full swing, now.

I also went to Michael's and picks up some yarn to make some scarves. Yes, it's knitting season again!

When I finally got home, JJ was here workin on dinner.

For some reason, I decided I didn't really want to talk last night, so I didn't. Apparently, this really freaks my roommates out a lot. But sometimes, I just don't feel like talking. I don't think that I can improve upon the silence, so I don't say anything. There's no sense in talking if it's a waste. Allison is beginning to get used to it, but everyone else seemed worried. It doesn't mean I'm depressed or upset. It just means that I don't want to talk.

Anyway, dinner was ready about 9pm, I think. We had (all homemade from scratch) fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and bread with honey butter (ok, well, the butter wasn't from scratch. JJ was not churning butter all day).
For desert, we had homemade crumble cake, which was so awesome.
Anyway, everyone went out last night, but I decided that I wanted to stay in and knit for a lil while. I ended up going to bed a little after 11. I was so exhausted from Thursday night.

This morning, I woke up with cramps (not from food) so I was a bit grumpy, but JJ brought a piece of cheesecake up to me in my loft to eat for breakfast. What an unhealthy breakfast! If I had been able to eat more than 2 bites of it, I'd have been a lot happier. Damn girly parts.

Anyway, I sat in the living room talking to JJ and drinking coffee all morning. Then I called Kevin and we hashed some things out.
So far, the day has been good.

Unfortunately, Santa is coming to the mall today.... which means that work will suck because of all 9 million asshole little kids.
Ahh well, I'll survive, prolly.
